Wednesday, October 1st, Esperanza Capacity Institute offers a variety of workshops for your business, non-profit organization, or church.
Esperanza Capacity Institute is an amazing educational opportunity in which community leaders can learn from other professionals in their specialized fields. Experts offer workshops that help address organizational issues, administrative processes, finance, and marketing as well as improve leadership and effectiveness.
This is where Esperanza’s mission to strengthen Hispanic communities really shines. Capacity building is an important part of our work for the community and it is an important part of helping you, as community leaders, learn to do the same.
A few things to look out for on the workshop schedule include:
Developing a Business Plan
If you have a great business idea that can only be accomplished with the help of funding from others, you will need a business plan. A business plan maps out your vision and how you will accomplish it. Come and learn how to create an effective plan that is straight forward and to-the-point. Open to all.
Organizational Assessment: A tool for a stronger future
This workshop will provide an orientation to Esperanza’s Organizational Assessment Tool, designed for Esperanza, to help nonprofit organizations effectively evaluate their efficacy as an organization on multiple levels. Open to all.
Faith Based Organizations and Federal Grants
The federal government authorizes the use of federal grants for partnerships with faith based organizations. These funds, however, come with some very stringent guidleines and this workshop will help guide your efforts through this process. Open to all.
Panel Discussion on Social Media
We will offer an interactive panel to discuss the utilization of new media in enhancing your congregation. Isaac Cubero from ENLACE TV will discuss how and why to use it as well as other key organizations who use social media to promote their ministries. Open to All.
